Registering as a Sub With San Rafael City Schools

Our registration of certificated subs for the 2012-2013 school year is currently closed with the exception of those substitutes who hold credentials in Special Education, Multiple Subjects, Math, Science, and Physical Education.  We are opening a Substitute Pool for these subjects only.  To apply, please submit a full application packet to the Human Resources Department.  This posting and related info can be found on our employment page at www.srcs.org, or at www.edjoin.org.    We may reopen sub registration for other subjects later on this school year and if so you will see an update on this page.

In addition to certificated subs, we are also in need of Classified substitutes to work as Instructional Assistants, particularly as 1:1 instructional assistants, and as clerical substitutes. Classified substitutes must provide proof of TB clearance within the past 4 years, and must obtain appropriate DOJ fingerprint clearance specifically for San Rafael City Schools.

Classified Employees: If you are going to be absent, please leave me a message with your name, (spell the last name), reason for the absence, your position, your site, and if a substitute is required.  Please speak slowly and clearly so that I can ascertain who is calling.  I will then contact your site and let someone in the office know that you will be out for the day.
