For the 2008-2009 school year, the first day of school in the elementary district is Wednesday, August 27 and, for the high school district, Thursday, August 21, 2008. It is expected that SRCS will receive a letter from Marin County Superintendent of Schools Mary Jane Burke, as early as today, June 18, 2008, requesting a rescission of the lease agreement approved by the SRCS Board of Education on May 27th.
